1. Whom do you ask to inspect the goods and issue the
documents?
If the buyers do not designate a special authoritative
inspection organization, we
ask CIQ (ENTRY-EXIT INSPECTION AND QUARANTINE OF THE
PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA,
former CCIB) to do inspection for phytosanitary, quality,
weight, health, fumigation
or aflatoxin inspection and issue the certificates.
CIQ
charges for Aflatoxin: If E.U inspection method and sampling:
USD110.00 per container.
If NON-E.U method and sampling of inspection: 37USD for
every 50 MTS.
2. Whom do you ask to issue certificate of origin?
Certificate of Origin can be issued by China Council
For The Promotion Of International Trade (CCPIT) or China Chamber of International
Commerce, and CIQ. But only CIQ can issue Certificate of
Origin FORM A (Generalized System of Preferences Certificate
of Origin Form A).
3. Do you accept inspection of SGS?
No,
unless the buyer suggests and pays for the very very
high charges to SGS. We have SGS office in Qingdao. Here is
the recent SGS charges for inspection of peanuts:
If E.U. inspection method and sampling, the cost for EACH
lot of peanuts of ONE type is: 300USD x number of 20'ft
containers + 100USD (if for Aflatoxin) + 50USD for moisture +
50USD (if for spotted kernels) + 100USD (if for loading
supervision) + 300USD for the SGS staff going out to the
inspection spot each time (600USD if go out two times...) =
900USD at least IF one container as one lot.
If NON E.U. inspection method and sampling, the cost for
EACH lot of peanuts of ONE type is: 550USD + 200USD (if for
Aflatoxin) + 50USD for moisture + 50USD (if for spotted
kernels) + 100USD (if for loading supervision) + 300USD for
the SGS staff going out to the inspection spot each time
(another 300USD if go out two times...) = 1250USD or more for
each lot.
4. Do you arrange the documents legalization?
Most mid east countries ask the invoice or certificates be
legalized by their embassies or consulates in China, if so the legalization
fee should be separately
added to our quotation.
5. Does your plant issue certificates of your products?
Yes, we can do inspection for our own goods and issue these
certificates when our customers asks us to do it, but we must
also have these goods inspected by CIQ and ask them to issue
certificates too, if not, we are not allowed to ship out the
goods by CIQ and China customs authority.
